Situated in the Umbrian countryside, on the border of Tuscany, villa "La Pineta" enjoys views over large pine forests, vineyards and fields of beautiful horses grazing peacefully. It is about 2km from Lake Trasimeno and its islands, Castiglione del Lago, an ancient bourg with the duke's palace, a castle with a triangular keep, rich in frescoes from the renaissance and a well preserved Roman urbanistic center. It will be lovely to walk along the small streets in the town center among typical restaurants and shops and maybe tasting the delicious “torta al testo” with cold cuts and pecorino cheese typical of Umbria.

The ancient stone farmhouse contains five independent apartments. One of these has a large dining room where everyone can get together for meals, making La Pineta an ideal vacation destination for groups of friends or large families deciding to spend their holiday together, even though maintaining their privacy. The furniture style is simple but comfortable. There is also a large garden for the guests' use, as well as a swimming pool (dim. 12x6 mt. pool depth mt. 1,10), a tennis court (both completely fenced), a bowling green, table tennis, bicycles, barbecue, children playground and shadowed car parks. On the back of the house there is a big gazebo with table and chairs, a real nice solution to prepare delicious dinners in the open air. On request it will possible to arrange typical Tuscan dinners and qualified wine tastings in villa.

Entrance through a typical small "loggia", large living - dining room with kitchen corner and with fireplace, double bedroom and bathroom with washbasin and wc, twin bedroom with private ensuite bathroom with shower.
