Price : € 20,00 per person (free for under 12 year-olds accompanied by parents)
When: everyday meeting point in Piazza del Campo at 11 am Guided Tour + Admission fee to the museum of the Old Hospital Santa Maria della Scala.

Description: This tour is made to discover the most secret places in Siena following the traces left here by pilgrims, wayfarers, artists, and saints for one thousand years. This is the only way to see hidden fountains, ancient castles and towers, or unknown churches still rich in forgotten masterpieces. A fascinating itinerary that ends with the millenary Old Hospital Santa Maria della Scala where beautiful frescoes and evocative dungeons are to be found.

FLORENCE Guided Walking Tour of Historical Centre (2 participants onwards) Length: 1.45 hours
Price: € 20 per person. Free for under 14 year olds if in company of an adult participant.
When: Daily from Tuesday to Sunday from APRIL 1st 2012 to OCTORBER 31st 2012 At 1:45 pm

Description: If you want to go deep into facts and secrets of over 2,000 years of Florentine history from the Roman period to the interior of a 15th century Palazzo, from the unique Ponte Vecchio, through the Uffizi courtyard, on to the marvel of architecture of Brunelleschi’s Dome of the Cathedral and its Baptistery with the golden “Gates of Paradise”. We will let you know this city so well in all its aspects.
The tour is held in English but can be organised in other languages on request for groups of at least 10 participants.

Description: After the walking Tour of Historical Centre, such as the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, the Squares, the monuments, the Old Bridge etc… we continue with…. The Uffizi Gallery one of the most famous museums in the world, was begun by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 for Cosimo I de' Medici. Your knowledgeable guide will explain all the secrets of the greatest artists from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance: Cimabue, Piero della Francesca, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael and many more. At last you will be able to be eye to eye with world-famous paintings that you have seen all your life in books, magazines, and on TV. And our guide will help you in understanding why Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance. Personalize your museum experience. No need to exit the museum at the end of the tour : you can remain till closing time and live its atmosphere.

During these trips you would be able to taste well known Tuscan wines like Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti Classico, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and so on… with the constant presence of a qualified sommelier guiding you through the wine tasting experience. In addition you could taste wines and typical products directly in your holiday home or in our trustworthy wine shop.

What makes a wine tasting at home better:
• you'll be able to taste some of the greatest Tuscan wine in the comfort of your holiday home.
• a lesson is taken to let you know the main process of how wine is made and its characteristics (English spoken lesson needs to be specified)
• together with the wine tasting, you'll be served some typical products such as salumi, a selection of cheese, bruschettas, etc... so, in the end, it is a complete meal.
• you won't need to use your own cutlery. Our staff will provide you with all the necessary (plates, glasses, towels..). So, no need to clean up anything at the end of the day!
• you'll be free to eat... and drink as much as you want since you won't need to drive back home.

WINE TOUR

9:00 All participants gather and the bus leaves for the tour.

10:00 Arrival and visit the wine cellar. Tasting of Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso di Montepulciano & red wine or white IGT together with some tasting of salami & cheese.

11:30 Leaving to the second wine cellar in Montepulciano.

12:30 Arrival and visit of the wine cellar. Tasting of Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino & Grappa di Brunello all served with a vast selection of typical products.

14:30 Leaving to the third wine cellar in Lucignano.

15:30 Arrival and visit of the wine cellar. Tasting of Chianti DOCG, Chianti Classico served with a selection of typical products.

17:00 Back to the starting point. Partecipants are free to come back to their holiday home.

Price Euro 75,00 per person (min. 4 persons).
